Safe Lock Servicing (Mechanical)            Instructor: Brian Costley, CML, CMST

    This class is unusual in that it is designed for the entry level safe technician, but progressed logically to topics and exercises that are quite advanced.  The focus of the hands-on portion is the venerable S&G 6730, the most popular safe lock of all times.  Training includes installation, combination changing, disassembly and cleaning, troubleshooting, and more.  In addition to the 6730, there will be information on the 6741 Group 2 lock and the 6630 Group 2M.  Each student will take home a mounted 6730 cutaway lock, complete with dial and ring, as well as the hand tools S&G provides for the class.  As you might expect, this is an intensely hands-on presentation.  All required tools will be provided by Sargent & Greenleaf, but feel free to bring your own favorites.
